After many years of usage the main vee-rollers were worn out
So instead of replacing the rollers we pressed up 3mm cone plates and re-skinned the rollers.

Hay slasher with a damaged main driver gear box.
A record hay season was pretty hard on gear.
A somewhat dismal find when the gear box was opened up.
But with a new set of gears, bearings and seals installed the slasher was back in business.
